Park Information

The Anoka Nature Preserve is a 200-acre parcel that includes an old growth oak forest, prairie area, and farm field that is still in use today. The nature preserve provides about 3 miles of gravel travels for park users to enjoy. During the winter months when there is snow on the ground, the nature preserve is one of our locations in the city that is groomed for cross country skiing. 

Features of the park include a small parking lot and nature inspired playground at the trail head. There is an open shelter located on the property to rent for any of your small gatherings. Any rental would need to carry in and carry out all of your supplies and trash.

Please be respectful of nature and pick up pet waste. Trash receptacles are provided at the main trail entrance and at the shelter.
