Features

The City maintains approximately  3.2 miles of trail for skate skiers and classic skiers on the golf course. The one-way trail includes double tracks for classic skiers and a 9 feet wide trail for skate skiers when snow depths allow. The trails begin near the first tee box and wind their way through the rolling hills and trees of the golf course & bringing you back to the club house. Grooming will occur based on use and snow fall.  Please stay on the trail.

Please do not ski at Green Haven until you see the signage indicating that trails are open.

Navigating

Skiers are encouraged to park in the lot near the lower club house entrance and use the cart path to access the trails. Signage is in place to help you navigate the course - please stay on the groomed trails and do not chart your own course. The trail placement has been determined with great care to protect the tee boxes and greens. Be patient as we continue to make improvements to the trails and strive to offer the best experience possible.

The building/restrooms will be available during regular business hours and special events.

Anoka Nature Preserve (ANP)

Location

Anoka, MN 55303

Features

The Anoka Nature Preserve has approximately 3 miles of trail that wind its way through the heavily wooded old growth oak forest and around the open field.  Terrain has low rolling hills and flats, good for novice skiers.

Grooming

The City will groom as use and snow fall deems necessary. The trail is flat groomed or rolled for multi-use. Please share the trail!  Hikers, skiers, fat-tire bikers, dog walkers  and snowshoers all use the trail - be respectful of others and move to the side to let people pass. Classic tracks are not set in the ANP as the trail is not wide enough.
